Ametora, a Japanese term for 'American traditional,' embodies the East Coast collegiate fashion that influenced Japan's menswear industry in the 1960s. Our Ametora shirts faithfully recreates the iconic dress shirts of Madison Avenue in the 1950s.

Featuring a loose fit reminiscent of that era, a 3.5-inch long collar which has a nice neck roll and constructed unlined for a super soft feel. Ivy-style details like a back box pleat and gathered sleeves on barrel cuffs.
