Lavenham

A British Factory Brand Specialising in Quilted Outerwear. Founded in 1969 having over 50 years of quilting expertise and still make every Lavenham item in their Suffolk factory, just six miles from the site of the original factory in Lavenham village, from where the name comes from. The Lavenham factory employs over 100 local skilled craftspeople and the entire manufacturing process takes place within the factory. All the fabric are quilted in house on one of the five quilting machines. The fabric is then cut into pattern pieces before making its way to the finishing floor where it is sewn into the final garment. Finally each piece is thoroughly inspected as part of the quality control before it is ready to make its way out and into the world.
